McDonald's Coffee to Be Sold in Supermarkets

Earlier today (August 19, 2014), McDonald's and Kraft announced that they plan to sell McCafe brand coffee in supermarkets starting early 2015. They wanted to provide a way for customers to enjoy their coffee at-home, which makes sense because they've become a huge name in the coffee industry since the introduction of McCafe. This will also be a great way for McDonald's to boost sales; in fact, their stock went up .50% shortly after they announced their supermarket coffee plan!

Here are the flavors they'll be including in the ground coffee lineup: Premium Roast, Premium Roast Decaf, French Roast, French Roast Whole Bean, French Vanilla, Colombian, Breakfast Blend and Hazelnut.

K-Cup users will be able to enjoy McCafe at home, too! They'll also be creating on-demand single cups in the Premium Roast, Premium Roast Decaf, and the French Roast flavors.

This is exciting stuff, guys! The McCafe menu at McDonald's includes coffee, lattes, mochas, frappes, iced coffee, smoothies and more, and it's actually been one of my go-to spots for on-the-go coffee for the past couple years now. If you haven't already tried the McDonald's breakfast and McCafe offerings, give them a shot!
