Are you a Chick-fil-a devotee? They have a pretty awesome breakfast menu, including their famous chicken biscuits, breakfast burritos, cinnamon clusters, oatmeal, yogurt parfaits and more! But until now, their coffee has been lackluster.
Upon realizing that they were losing out on valuable business from the coffee aficionados, they have announced (on August 12) that they will be replacing their dull, unpopular brew for new premium coffee drinks from Thrive. Thrive is a supplier that eliminates the toxic volatility of the community market by doing business directly with farmers. They've also instructed workers to brew smaller pots so that the coffee will be fresher and to prepare coffee drinks themselves instead of handing over the ingredients to their customers.
Tons of other fast-food chains have already started carrying specialty coffee drinks, particularly McDonald's with their McCafe menu. Burger King also jumped in the bandwagon in 2010 when they started serving Seattle's Best, and Subway has recently announced that they will be brewing coffee using Keurig's single-serve coffee machines.
